Backpackers’ Home Okinawa-AIEN, which proposes a way of living that combines the best of both share house and guest house, is located in the exotic Sunabe area of Chatan Town.
The name AIEN is taken from the word “Aien Kien,” which means “a mysterious chance meeting.
The cafe space is open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and offers not only coffee but also a full cafe menu.
In the evening, bar food & drinks are served, and various types of seating are available, including table, standing, sofa, and terrace seating.
Local, domestic, and international guests gather in this fashionable cafe space, and through the “karma” that begins there, something new may begin!

The Sunabe area of Chatan-cho is recognized as “Sunabe Culture”, mainly centering on “Miyagi Beach”, one of the best sunset points in the prefecture, and is an area that sets itself apart from other towns.
Miyagi Beach is only a 2-minute walk away. On the beach, you will encounter surfers, divers, and even friendly foreigners who greet you with a smile as you pass by!

What is Backpackers Home?
Backpackers Home is a multi-location living platform that allows you to move to any location in Japan on a monthly basis.
You can live in hostels and guesthouses from Okinawa to Hokkaido in a month-to-month basis.
The hostels and guesthouses will be cleaned every day!
You can live in your favorite area at your favorite time of year throughout the year, such as living near the ocean in Okinawa in summer, enjoying the season of autumn leaves in Kyoto in fall, winter sports in Niigata in winter, or relaxing in the fresh green landscape of Hokkaido in spring. You can sign up for a private room or dormitory room at our affiliated hostels and guesthouses at a lower price than usual.
